Be willing to part with those things which no longer serve you…I am very much resonating with this. Along with being present by. Also, I wish I had known Dorothy French!

I know that in the past, I have been guilty of clinging to things (and people) when they no longer served me, so this is very much an ongoing journey for me. She was definitely a character of a bygone age!

This was fantastic, David. It's definitely made me think about a lot of things! I think now, more than ever, young people in particular are conscious of both their age and their ageing. My early to mid 20s were unfortunately lost to the pandemic – but I think the reason *why* that feels so unfortunate is because so many of us are told that we need to get X, Y and Z done before we're 30. It seems ridiculous to even write it down, because 30 is such a young age! This topic has really made me think – I feel like I'm going to be reflecting on it all day. Thanks so much for these reflections 😊

Very well said. Age is just a number and each day is the 1st day of the rest of your life.

What a wonderful photo of Dorothy French and what a life she lived. As I approach a significant birthday, such thoughts are particularly pressing this year. Such a lovely post, David.
