Wow, that was a wonderful trip down memory lane. I still have my old Lego set that I was given many years ago. One toy I could never part with, and it still sees the light of day sometimes 😊.

I remember the model village at Bourton on the Water. It's been a very long time since I last visited. We have a model railway village in a local garden centre. That's always nice to visit 😊

This is a blast from the past! My parents frequently took me to Bourton on the Water to the model village. I also remember Birdland in the area too...happy memories.😊

I don’t remember what Birdland was, but I seem to remember seeing it on the road signs 🤔

I am constantly blown away by how aligned our thinking and writing is. My word for spring is renew born out of reuse. I have also made books for as long as I can remember from recycled materials others might throw away. Loved this piece. Took me back to my roots. Thank you David

I love visiting here David. Have you been to the garden Snowshill manor? That has a lovely model village in the grounds. It’s a beautiful garden too.

I’ve always loved anything miniature. My godmother had a cabinet of tiny things which I was allowed to take out and play with carefully. It started my collection of miniature things. I also loved my dolls house and the whole tiny world my imagination created around it. At the moment I am making tiny books.

This reminded me of childhood holidays spent on the south east coast - we always visited the model village at Hastings. I've just looked it up and apparently it was removed in 1988 becasue of lack of visitors and vandalism. Ah, this life.

There is a model village near to where I grew up and I remember spending lots of days there in the school holidays. Funny, I’ve not thought about it in a long time but you’ve inspired me to investigate it again!
