Enveloped in a grey heaviness, February has been a gloomy month, yet there are glimmers of warmth, colour and sunshine on the horizon, as we edge ever further towards the gateway to spring.
Thank you for sharing your lovely moments in February, a time when it feels so important to do so! I have loved the recent glimmers of sunshine, I had sort of forgotten it could exist (!) and spotting some daffodils out and about, and yes always snowdrops ❄️✨
Such a beautiful, unfolding post about what is to come. We like the daffodil buds need to feel the warmth. It is lovely you are exploring your home town more. We do not need to go far for nature’s discoveries. I am humbled you mentioned my post, thank you 🍃🌼
Thank you for reading 🙏✨ I think you’re right about needing warmth. Our daffodils are still some way off, but hopefully some warm, sunny spells will give them some much-needed energy.
Wonderful thoughts and I love the story of taking the post to your neighbour. It’s these small, seemingly insignificant things that quite often mean the most and remind me that humans aren’t all bad! The daffodils have started appearing here in London and my magnolia tree is bursting with buds so I’m hopeful for a riot of spring colour very soon. Thank you for linking to my post too; really kind of you. ☺️
Thank you for your uplifting post. I too relish the few glimmers of the coming Spring … this morning I opened my blind at 6.30 to a glorious sunrise and have seen my first wild daffodils along the River Wye. I’m also planning my garden for summer, repotting dahlias and beautiful tree Lillie’s I have nurtured for three years.

Yes, we’ve certainly had cause to forget about the sun, but it is certainly beginning to look like spring now 🌱🌼
gorgeous photos, and a lovely, comforting read.
Thank you so much for reading 🙏🌿
Really good to see Snowdrops and bright yellow Daffodils about, spring is certainly very close.

Always looking for those glimmers of hope. Thank you for sharing yours.
Here, we have to often make it through February to see any. But I’m definitely starting to think of seeds and gardens again!
Yes, signs of a hopeful spring around the corner, although February has certainly been a slow and grey month here 🌱
February has been so grey and dull! I hope we start to see brighter days ahead. The snowdrops always make me smile on the gloomy days!
It really has been terribly gloomy! Hope and colour on the horizon ✨

Our daffodils are still a way off, but there’s plenty out and about around Lichfield 🌼
Thank you so much for reading 🙏✨
